Agent Cody Banks
Frankie Muniz in his first starring role since "Big Fat Liar" plays a CIA agent-in-training, who is sent to a special summer training camp to learn self-defense, attack skills and how to be a spy. Then he goes back home to await his first big undercover assignment. And his parents never even suspect that their completely normal kid has acquired a license to kill. Two years go by until one day he gets the call. His CIA handler, Ronica Miles (Angie Harmon) appears in the boys' high school locker room and gives him his first assignment. He's to transfer to a nearby prep school and "get close" to the prettiest girl there (Hilary Duff). He's to use his friendship with her to gain access to her father's secret laboratory in which evil conspirators are plotting to use nano-technology to take over the world. After he succeeds in conquering his shyness around pretty girls, he unsurprisingly manages to take out the bad guys. But it's Muniz' charm that makes this coming-of-age young man both enjoyable, believable and probably profitable, so you can look for Cody Banks 2 to be appearing at your neighborhood theater in the not too distant future. {DVD Features: Deleted scenes; Outtakes; Sneak peek at Cody Banks sequel; Agent Action - never-before-seen footage of the film's stunts; 3 featurettes: "Frankie Muniz Going Big," How to Talk to Girls," and "Cool Makeup Tricks by Hilary Duff"; "Developing Agent Cody Banks" - a behind-the-scenes look at the film's preproduction process; "Creating Cody's World" - a tour of the film's sets and costume designs; "Posting Cody Banks;" Commentary by director Harald Zwart, Frankie Muntz and Angie Harmon
