Jimmy's Buzz Guide Review:
Anne Hathaway and Julie Andrews bring charm and elegance to the film, but there's very little for them to work with in this good-natured but palid sequel. It will surely entertain lots of young girls, until the next live fairly tale comes along.

Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement
As if getting ready to rule the kingdom wasn't enough, the stakes for Mia (Anne Hathaway) have never been higher -- with Genovian law stating that princesses must be married before being crowned, Mia's grandmother Queen Clarisse (Julie Andrews)arranges for a parade of suitors who'd all like to be her king. In the quest for a groom, comedy and complications rule the day as director Garry Marshall ("Pretty Woman") keeps this amusing, but unsurprising romantic comedy moving pleasantly along. John Rhys-Davies, Hector Elizondo, Heather Matarazzo, Tom Poston, Larry Miller and Chris Pine round out the cast.
