|Po the Panda (voice of Jack Black} a lowly waiter in a noodle restaurant, is a kung fu fanatic, but he is unable to perform its simplest tasks. His dad, a goose named Mr. Ping (James Hong) runs a noodle shop and expects his son to take over the establishment one day. But Po longs to take Kung-Fu training under Master Shifu (Dustin Hoffman) alongside his heroes, the Furious Five: Tigress (Angelina Jolie), Viper (Lucy Liu), Mantis (Seth Rogen), Crane (David Cross) and Monkey (Jackie Chan).
Po miraculously manages to fulfill his impossible dream when the inventor of kung fu, Oogway the turtle (Randall Duk Kim), anoints him the long-prophesied Dragon Warrior. Comic calamities pile up, one after the other, until Shifu realiizes what might be Po's true driving force - his insatiable appetite. Using this knowledge Shifu soon has Po ready to face the villainous Tai Lung (Ian McShane), a snow leopard who descends on the fearful village to reclaim his title as the Dragon Warrior.
Eventually there is an exciting battle along a rope bridge between the Furious Five and Tai Lung and an ultimate showdown between Po and the evil snow leopard. With striking Chinese landscapes, lots of humor and plenty of action, this is a most enjoyable movie; one that will entertain the whole family.
