Located in the Park’s Children’s Corner, the Carousel is one of the Park’s most popular attractions. Its 53 magnificent horses ride alongside a lion, a giraffe, a deer and two dragon-pulled chariots. Carved in 1912 by Charles Carmel, one of the foremost carousel designers of his time
$2 per ride, $9 for a book of 5 tickets, for all ages.
The Carousel is located in the Children’s Corner, just inside Prospect Park, at Ocean and Flatbush Avenues and Empire Boulevard. Brooklyn, NYC
Central Park Carousel
The famed Carousel, with its sweet calliope music and 57 magnificent horses, is the fourth to stand in Central Park since 1871. It is one of Central Park's most popular favorite attractions. It is said that a live mule or a horse, hidden beneath the Carousel platform, powered the original amusement ride from 1873 until 1924.
Tickets are $3.00 per ride, cash only

Prospect Park in Brooklyn
A 585-acre urban oasis located in the heart of Brooklyn.
